Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) Youth Ministry organized the “Lead Like Jesus (LLJ) encounter” for the Nagamese Baptist Churches Association (NBCA) from April 14 to 16, 2025, in Impur. The event was attended by 52 NBCA pastors, women pastors and youth pastors.
According to Officiating Executive Secretary, ABAM, Rev. L. Yapang Mollier, the encounter program was conducted under the theme, “Share your needs and Share your resources.”
The LLJ encounter is a movement designed to help leaders live, love, and lead like Jesus by letting go of their earthly status, which can create pride and fear—the root causes of failure.
Instead, it encourages participants to embrace humility and love, which are essential qualities for effective leadership. Recognizing the power of influence in servant leadership, this movement has thrived worldwide for years and has positively impacted both personal and professional lives.
Rev. L. Yapang said ABAM Youth Ministry was fortunate to host the significant encounter for the NBCA, providing an opportunity for leading pastors, women pastors, and youth pastors to engage with this transformative movement. The facilitators for the program were Toshi Sanglir, secretary, ABAM YM, and Teka Imchen, coordinator, ABAM YM.
