Abiogenesis, the pioneering folk-fusion band from Nagaland, has won the Best Rock Regional Song Award for their track “Asen Lima” from the album Tales in Harmony at the 5th Clef Music Awards, held at The Westin Garden City, Goregaon on September 19.
The award was received on behalf of the band by Mesensen, marking a proud milestone for Nagaland’s music community.
Organized annually by Indiantelevision.com’s ITV Group-India, the Clef Music Awards recognize outstanding achievements across India’s music industry. The 2025 edition featured entries released between May 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, with participation from leading labels including Tips Music, Universal Music, Warner Music, and Believe India.
The evening concluded with a networking dinner, uniting prominent artists and industry contributors in a celebration of music excellence.
