Police arrested one taxi driver identified as one Vicky Singh, son of late Mutin Singh, Pathaganti village, PO/PS- Pathaganti of Katrimganj, Assam, presently residing at Khermahal, Dimapur. PRO said the arrest was made in connection with the alleged assault and intimidation on Abei Tepa, a advisor of Angami Students’ Union, Chakroma Range on January 5 by the arrested taxi driver near the Chumukedima Police Check Gate. A case has been registered and investigation is on for further necessary action, stated PRO.
