Acharya extends Ahuna greetings

Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya greeted the Sumi community on the occasion of Ahuna. In his message through PRO, Acharya called upon the Sumi community to thank the Almighty for his unwavering love and blessings. He reminded all to thank the farmers for their hard work, and informed the farmers on some of the welfare projects taken up the Central and State governments – soil testing, Kisan credit card, National Food Security Mission etc.  Acharya also urged the Sumis to continue to safeguard and promote the rich culture and traditions and prayed that the festival bring peace, unity and communal harmony to all people.
