One ‘NSCN (K)’ activist was killed while another was injured when unidentified gunmen fired on them at Burma Camp junction, Friday at 1 p.m. Based on the statement of the injured, police said the deceased was identified as ‘Pvte’ Hekato Yeptho (28), son of Khekiye Yeptho of Thazuvi village, Satoi Range and the injured as identified as ‘Sgt Maj’ Zhenito (25), son of Yehizhe of Satakha, both from the NSCN (K). The injured was rushed to Zion Hospital where he was reported to be out of danger.
