Activities organised in view of ensuing R- Day celebration

In view of the ensuing 75th Republic Day celebration, various activities were organised across the state.

Wokha: Wokha district administration conducted a social work on January 24. The administrative staff actively participated in cleaning activities, focusing on the office premises, its surroundings, and various parts of Wokha Town.


Peren: Peren district conducted mass social work on January 24 at District Headquarter on account of Republic Day celebration.


HA: As a run-up to the Republic Day, Assam Rifles conducted a motivational lecture and a presentation to encourage the youth to “Join the Indian Army” on January 24 at Hope Academy, Naga United Village, Chümoukedima. Around 250 students and five faculty members were part of the interaction.


MC: As part of the 75th Republic Day celebration, one day career guidance on “How to join the Army” was organised by Modern College (MC) Piphema in collaboration with 7th Assam Rifles on January 23 with major Akashdeep Attri, 7th Assam Rifles as the resource person. Altogether 200 students along with faculty participated in the programme.
