Acupressure & chiropractic therapy camp in Dimapur

Indian Red Cross Society, Dimapur District, launched a 5-day Acupressure & Chiropractic Therapy Camp under the theme “On the Side of Humanity” on June 28. The camp will continue till July 2 at Lions Health Centre, Lions Club, Midland, Dimapur.
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, who urged the public to take full advantage of the free therapy sessions. He thanked the Indian Red Cross Society, Dimapur District Chairman, Chandu Agarwal, and the Red Cross team for organizing the camp.
The therapy sessions are led by three experienced practitioners from Rajasthan: Dr. Ravinder Bishnoi (MD in Acupuncture); Th. Kailash Kumar (MD in Chiropractic Therapy) and Dr. Mahendra Singh (MD in Acupuncture).
The camp offers non-invasive and drug-free treatments, including acupressure, chiropractic therapy, fire cupping, vibration therapy, and magnet therapy. These holistic treatments aim to provide relief for individuals suffering from back pain, sciatica, joint pain, cervical pain, thyroid issues, chronic headaches, asthma, and arthritis.
Indian Red Cross Society, Dimapur District chairman, Chandu Agarwal, informed that the response on the first day was positive, and expects over 500 people to benefit from the camp. He encouraged citizens to take advantage of the treatments, which can help manage stress and improve overall well-being. The therapy sessions are scheduled in two daily time slots: 9:30 am -1 pm and 3 pm – 6:30 pm. Participants are required to pay a nominal registration fee of Rs. 100 for the five-day program.
