ACVA Wokha welcomes new leadership

DIMAPUR

All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA), Wokha district, held a formal transition ceremony on May 31, 2025 at its office in Wokha, marking the official handing over of responsibilities to the newly elected executive team for the 2025–2030 tenure.
The new leadership included-president: Yanithung Lotha, general secretary: Lipenthung Ovung and finance secretary: T. Renbemo Kikon.
At the event, outgoing president C. Renbi Ngullie reflected on his tenure, thanking God, colleagues, and sub-units for their support. He highlighted the association’s firm stance on “One Government, One Tax”, a key resolution during his leadership. He encouraged members to stay alert and united, reminding them that ACVA was an issue-based association.
Vice president Renben Ngullie, speaking on behalf of the new team, requested continued guidance and support from the outgoing leadership. General secretary Lipenthung Ovung expressed gratitude for the previous executive’s dedication and shared plans for strengthening the association. He urged members to work together to ensure the new team’s success.
Finance secretary T. Renbemo Kikon presented a brief financial report on preparations for the upcoming “11th Foundation Day 2025” celebration.
The program also featured short speeches from members and a dedicatory prayer led by WTBC deacon Mhao Ngullie. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by outgoing president C. Renbi Ngullie.
