ADC Mangkolemba bans hunting

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mangkolemba, T. Lankonsen Tsanglao has informed all villages under Mangkolemba sub-division that hunting of all kind has been outlawed under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972, and the killing of migratory birds such as the famed Amur Falcon passing through the sub-division would attract penal action. The ADC has directed all VCCs to report incidences of such nature to the concerned department, if occurred in their respective jurisdiction.
