Additional Deputy Commissioner, Akuluto, Tiayanger Jamir, has informed all residents of V.K Town that the ongoing road widening project (Doyang – Izheto) of the NH-02 would be carried out in V.K town.
In this regard, residents of V.K Town whose houses/buildings have been compensated and officially marked by the PWD (NH) Department along with District Administration on March 19, 2026, are given 45 days from the date of issue of this notice to vacate their premises and remove all personal belongings/structures before expiry of the notice to facilitate the work smoothly.
Concerned PHED and power department have also been requested to carry out utility shifting work simultaneously. ADC informed that the notice has been issued for information and necessary action by all the concerned residents and departments of V.K Town within the stretch of NH-02 for compliance.
