DIMAPUR, SEP 29 (NPN): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has announced the inclusion of five additional disciplines in the upcoming Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026, formerly known as the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games (NOPG).
In a notification issued NOA media team, the association stated that the NSPG 2026 will be held from November 2 to 14 at Chümoukedima and Dimapur. The newly included disciplines are Lawn Tennis (Men), Sepaktakraw (Men and Women), Table Tennis (Men and Women), Volleyball (Men and Women) and Wrestling (Men and Women). The NOA said that the detailed list of medal events for all disciplines will be notified separately. Participation in the Games will be through contingents representing the 17 districts of Nagaland.
The association further informed that registration of players and teams will be conducted online from October 3 to 15. Once players are registered, no changes in names will be permitted. The Games Organizing Committee will provide accommodation, local transportation, food and technical arrangements for competitors and officials in the host cities. Dates of arrival and departure for contingents will be announced separately.
For coordination and related inquiries, the NOA has designated Khuvinu and Kivitoli as contact officials. They may be reached on working days, from Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
