Advanced Dental Clinic Kohima celebrates 10 years

DIMAPUR

Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic, Kohima, celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday at its premises in Sozo Complex, Mohankhola, commemorating a decade of specialized dental care and transformative service to the community.
Speaking at the milestone event, Dr. Pfukrulo Koza, Consultant Visiting Specialist, reflected on the clinic’s journey since its inception in 2015, which began with just three doctors, two specialists, and two dental chairs. Over the years, the clinic expanded its infrastructure and team, now operating with five dental chairs and hosting the highest number of dental specialists under one roof in Nagaland.
Dr. Koza highlighted the clinic’s pioneering achievements, including over 1,100 dental implant placements, and being the first in the state to perform bone block grafting, ridge split surgery, sinus lift procedures, all-on-four implants, and lip repositioning for gummy smiles. The clinic also introduced CAD/CAM prosthesis technology and conducted Nagaland’s first dental implant training course for practitioners.
Reaffirming the clinic’s commitment to holistic care, Dr. Koza credited the growth to the dedication of the medical team and the trust of patients. He also acknowledged divine providence and the support of the building owner for enabling the clinic’s establishment.
The event also spotlighted the Kekhro Smile Foundation (KSF), an initiative by the clinic’s doctors aimed at promoting oral hygiene and delivering charitable dental services to underserved communities. Plans are underway to launch a charitable clinic and expand the team of specialists.
Dr. Imyangluba, Pediatric Dentist, announced the opening of a satellite branch at Tinpati Junction, Kohima, by year-end, equipped with three dental chairs to cater to patients from Meriema, High School, and nearby areas. He added that the clinic will continue upgrading its technologies and facilities to meet growing patient needs.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Vetsole H. Koza, Managing Director, with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Dzutholu Thingo, Oral Implantologist. Prayers were offered by Keviechupe Pfuno, Deacon, CBCMHK, and Vilhou Koza.
The celebration was graced by Miss Nagaland Beautiful Smile – Kelülü Dawhuo, Miss Universe Nagaland, Miss Nagaland 2nd runners-up, and Miss Kohima, adding charm to the occasion.
