Advent Christmas celebrated across Nagaland

Calvary Bible Institute (CBI) Kohima organised a pre-Christmas-cum-Gospel service with newspaper hawkers of Kohima at the old taxi stand on Thursday.

During the programme, pastor BRC Keyake Prakash Pradhan shared the Christmas message.

Rana Chetri led the programme while Gopal Thapa presented a special number.

The programme was attended by around 70 newspaper hawkers.

H&FW: Directorate of Health and Family Welfare observed advent Christmas on December 17 where Dr. Neikhrielie Khimiao delivered speech on “What Christmas Means to me”.

During the programme, officers of directorate H&FW and Pelesa Keyho presented special number and Dr. Visasieu Kire, Director (ME) chaired the program.

ACRCD: Ao Christian Revival Church Dimapur (ACRCD) organised an advent Christmas programme on Thursday, hosted by the Ao Christian Revival Church Dimapur youth fellowship.

In a press release, ACRCYF general secretary informed that the programme was based on a play, “What Child is this?”. 

Speaking at the programme, Asen Semou who was also the compere exhorted the congregation that Jesus was the gift to humans and the true Christmas was spending time worshipping Christ and building a relationship with Him.

Highlights of the programme included song competition, play and others presentations. 

Orgns convey Christmas greets

Naga Hoho: The Naga Hoho has conveyed warm Christmas greetings to all the Naga people across the Naga homeland.

In a message, Naga Hoho president, H.K Zhimomi said that Christmas was a time of sharing the love with each other and rejoicing in the birth of Christ.

He therefore urged upon all to forgive and forget in the true spirit of Christ this Christmas.

Further, Naga Hoho hoped that this season would bring love, joy, hope and peace into every hearts and homes and that the people would celebrate Christmas in its true spirit. 

PDSCA: Conveying warm Christmas greetings to all, the Phek District Seniors Citizen Association (PDSCA) appealed to all the believers to be hospitable and have faith unlike the people of Bethlehem.

In a message, Phek District Seniors Citizen Association  general secretary, Vekhapu Rhakho urged upon all to prepare to celebrate the birthday of Christ and receive abundant blessings this Christmas.
