Advisor of Youth Resources and Sports, S. Keoshu Yimkhiung has been inducted as the 13th president of Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) at the induction ceremony held at NSBSG State Headquarters Bayavu Hill Kohima on Wednesday. Along with Keoshu, two others officials have also been inducted and five took reaffirmation.
In his speech, S.Keoshu gave glory to God for the opportunity to serve as president of NSBSG Nagaland. He acknowledged the founder Lord Baden Powell for his sacrifices and spreading the movement to 216 countries and territories across the world.
He said NSBSG during its inception in 1967 was a tender organization, however it has become a centre of young and energetic volunteers ready to serve the society in particular and Nation in general.
Keoshu further appealed to gathering to push the association to the highest level in all activities together.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by NSBSG vice president, Wezope Kenye and State Secretary NSBSG Er.Thepfuzakie Suohu delivered the keynote address.
Vote of thanks was delivered by State Commissioner (G), Nino Iralu.
On the occasion, warrants for State commissioner (Bulbul), Chubanungla State Commissioner (Cub) Om Prakash Gupta and State Commissioner (Rover) Kuoliebeizo Mepfhü-o were presented by the Keoshu.
The induction ceremony was administered by SOC(S) John Tochimong and SOC (G) Vimezhonu.
