Office of the Pr. Accountant General (A&E) Nagaland, Kohima has informed all departmental directorates that registration for Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs) authorized to sanction refundable/non-refundable /final payment GPF of account holders maintained in A&E office would commence shortly.
In a press note, Sr. accounts officer information cell has requested all directorates and Sr. treasury officer/treasury officers to initiate registration of concern DDOs on or before August 31.
The release informed that the DDO module was designed to enable check on the balances of subscribers before according sanction on refundable/non-refundable/final payment GPF. It informed that a separate form titled “For Drawing & Disbursing Officers” was available for download at www.agnagaland.gov.in.
All Sr. treasury officers/treasury officers have been informed to submit registration forms for activation of Sr. treasury officer/treasury officer module so as to enable a second tier check on bills pertaining to refundable/non-refundable/final payment before authorizing payment.
It said a separate form titled “For Sr.Treasury Officers/Treasury Officers” can be downloaded from the office website and that the filled in forms could be submitted to the directorates for due consolidation before submitting to Office of the Pr. Accountant General (A&E).
