AEP+ conducted at GMSs Kohima

An Adolescents Education Program Plus (AEP+) was organised at Government Middle School (GMS) Midland and Government Middle School (GMS) Forest Colony, Kohima on August 29 and 30 respectively.

A press release by FPA India, Nagaland Branch stated that the programme was organised by Family Planning Association (FPA) of India, Nagaland Branch with the objective to provide information regarding various issues related to adolescents and growing up, thereby developing their skills in making decision, assertiveness, communication and stress and emotion management. 

The release stated that the resource persons addressed the students on diverse topics under AEP+ and also sensitized them on various kinds of abuses an individual encounters.

The resource persons also informed students on cases of incest and asked them to seek professional assistance if they have been victimized.
