The 4th Biennial Women Conference of the Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) commenced on October 10 at the AGBCN Mission Centre, Singrijan Village, Chümoukedima. The three-day conference is being held under the theme “Global Vision for the Gospel” and will conclude on October 12.
According to a press release issued by AGBCN, over 300 delegates and officials representing Gorkha/Nepali Baptist Churches from across Nagaland are attending the event.
The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Igumpule Ndang, women secretary of the Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association, who delivered the inaugural address.
The conference will feature Dr. Igumpule Ndang and Ambika Thapa Pradhan, Women advisor of the Nepali Baptist Association Assam, as the main speakers.
Altogether, 33 Gorkha Baptist Churches are participating in the conference, making it a significant occasion of faith, fellowship and empowerment for the Gorkha Baptist community.
