In the first of its kind, Assembly of God Higher Secondary School (AGHSS) Dimapur in commemoration of late reverend Dr. TN Lotha and his wife organise two-day school fest under the theme “Seize the moment” which culminated Wednesday, at its school campus.
Various food stalls, games and face painting etc stalls were set up during the fest. Students actively took part in the fest.
Basing on the theme of the fest, impact foundation chairman Dr. Lima Jamir as chief guest at the culminating programme encouraged the student to enjoy every minute of their life in a responsible way.
He asked the students to be a “giver” and learn to give love. He encouraged them to be courageous and to keep on believing in their dreams in order to accomplish in life.
Jamir also challenged the gatherings to live an extraordinary life to the fullest. He further lauded the school for organizing such an event for the students saying “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.
Meanwhile, school also informed that the event has been organized as part of the school activities and hoped to continue it annually.
The inaugural programme of the fest was held on November 14, with commissioner (GST) Ashi Keyho as chief guest. The fest also highlighted jam session featuring Alobo Naga, Ruokuovotuo (Naga idol-2007), Seyievinuo Chuzho (music coach) and Joyphen Khersa (Naga Hindi voice-2015).
