Agriculture and Allied Department organised a farewell programme for Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) and DG Administrative Training Institute, R Binchilo Thong, at Hotel De Oriental Kohima on December 20.
A press release by the department informed that short farewell speeches were delivered by Jt. secretary L&E & Addl. Director, ATI, Bandanglila, Team Leader NBRM, Dr. Kruolalie Tsurho, Deputy Secretary Agriculture ELEMENT, Chonpenthung Ezung and Director, Agriculture, M Ben Yanthan.
Meanwhile, delivering his farewell message, Thong stated that his 37 years and 11 months of service under Government of Nagaland was a big achievement. He encouraged the officers and staffs to seek cooperation of the people and encourage to uphold team work for improvement of department.
He also enlightened his experiences of work ethics in various level of his service career.
The pogramme was chaired by commissioner and secretary, Agriculture- S&WC, Sushil Kumar Patel, while vote of thanks was delivered by undersecretary Agriculture, Kietuo Doulo.
