Directorate of Agriculture bade farewell to N. Jacob Yanthan, who retired as additional director, on May 2.
In his farewell speech, Yanthan thanked the Almighty for successful completion of his services and to all the rank and files of the department.
He also encouraged the staff to continue rendering the yeoman services to the people especially the farmers and requested them to go to the farmers’ community to uphold their responsibility.
Director of agriculture Ben Yanthan in his short speech lauded the outgoing director for his integrity and sincerity throughout his service.
Different speakers on behalf of the directorate staff, officers and well-wishers including family members, enumerated various qualities of the outgoing officer.
The farewell programme was chaired by director of Agriculture M.Ben Yanthan and service profile of retired officer and speech on behalf of the staffs was delivered by K.Remphamo Lotha.
Meanwhile, retired additional director department of Agriculture, N. Jacob Yanthan released the Agriculture Newsletter 2022-23 (PMKSY,RKVY,SMAM) and Rainfed Area Development (RAD) activities of Nagaland in the presence of the director of Agriculture Ben Yanthan and officials in the department at the conference hall Directorate of Agriculture on May 2.
