Agri-link road (13km), constructed by VDB Longching was inaugurated by BDO RD block Aboi, K.Yamao Konyak on May 21.
A press release from VDB secretary Longching village, Honying Konyak stated that, BDO after inaugurating the road appealed to the villagers to maintain workmanship spirit and unity in ushering developmental activities in their area. He reminded them that development could further enhance their relationship with other neighbouring villages or town along with understanding and unity between the public and the leaders. The BDO also urged the villagers to maintain and preserve the link-road which will benefit the public from commercial point of view.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Pangteang VCC chairman Longching, wherein he appreciated the BDO for ushering in development. Ex-VDB secretary Taiwang Konyak urged the BDO to continue to assist in developmental activities to the block and Longching village in particular. The function was chaired by Petok Konyak, village council secretary while vote of thanks was delivered by Honying Konyak VDB secretary. The programme ended with a benediction by pastor Longching Baptist Church.
