Department of agriculture on July 31, organised a farewell programme for to its outgoing joint directors Bendanglila and L. Hangshing.
A press release from the department informed that while lauding the outgoing joint directors, additional secretary agriculture, Nungsung Wapang Jamir acknowledged them for giving their best and serving the government with dedication.
Additional joint director, S. Kivikhu Achumi also conveyed best wishes to the outgoing officers and requested them to render their services to the department whenever required.
Achumi also read out the service profiles of the retiring officers.
During the programme, short speeches were delivered by outgoing joint directors.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by director of agriculture M Ben Yanthan.
