AIDA flood relief reaches six districts across Northeast

DIMAPUR: ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) 2026 Flood Relief Response reached out to six districts across Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Assam, providing essential relief materials and educational support to flood affected families and children.
The response was undertaken following widespread flooding, flash floods and landslides during the 2026 monsoon, which disrupted homes, livelihoods, agriculture and access to essential supplies in several communities.
According to a press release, AIDA carried out the relief works with support from Amazon and Nestlé, facilitating delivery of dry ration, hygiene and household materials to affected communities. Recognising the disruption caused to children’s education, AIDA also extended assistance beyond immediate relief.
The release stated that the operations were made possible through combined efforts of corporate partners, District Administrations, Civil Defence authorities, community organisations, local representatives and volunteers. The organisation further acknowledged the support of Nestlé, Amazon, and Bosco Gram Vikas Kendra in making the relief and educational interventions possible.
