As part of the new operations, low cost airline Air India Express has introduced a daily flight service connecting Delhi, Guwahati, and Dimapur, effective January 1.
The Airbus A320 flight will depart Delhi at 10.25 a.m., with after a 35-minute layover in Guwahati, fly to Dimapur and land at 2.40 p.m. The plane on its return flight will depart Dimapur at 3.20 p.m., and after a stopover in Guwahati, arrive Delhi at 7:40 p.m.
This new service is expected to enhance travel convenience and connectivity for passengers traveling between these key cities. Air India Express towards the end of 2024, announced an increase in flight operations from three major destinations in the northeast – Guwahati, Agartala and Imphal– as part of its winter schedule. The expansion not only facilitates easier travel for those wishing to explore North East, but also strengthens Guwahati’s role as a vital link with the rest of the country.
