DIMAPUR: Air Marshal Inderpal Singh Walia, AVSM, VM, Air Officer Commanding‑in‑Chief (AOC‑in‑C), Eastern Air Command, visited Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (North), Kohima, on July 12, 2026.
During his visit, the Air Marshal laid a wreath at the Kohima War Cemetery, paying homage to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation.
He later visited HQ IGAR (N), where he was briefed on the prevailing security situation and ongoing operational developments in the region.
