Akashvani team calls on DC Kohima

KOHIMA: Head of Programme, Akashvani Kohima, Ella Kayina, along with programme offi-cials, paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, at his office chamber on June 17.
According to a DIPR report, the team expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation extended by the district administration to the station. Discussions focused on enhancing pub-lic awareness on Census 2027, monsoon preparedness, and disaster management. The inter-action underscored the importance of close coordination between the administration and media in promoting public awareness and ensuring effective dissemination of information on matters of public interest.
