The Ao Students Conference (AKM) shut down the offices of Jio and Vodafone for their pathetic services in Mokokchung on Saturday. The officials of AKM closed the shutters of these offices and put up notices which read that the AKM carried out this action in the interest of general public, after serving repeated intimations and warning for the improvement of network services. However, it said that since the following companies failed to comply in restoration/improving the network, the AKM was compelled to shut down the offices of Jio and Vodafone in Mokokchung. The notice further read that the offices will remain shut until a formal letter with the proof of network improvement is submitted to the AKM office.
