The Search Committee of the Association of Kohima Municipal Ward Chairmen (AKMWC) has nominated new office bearers for the tenure 2025–2030 following consultations with all 19 Ward Chairmen.
According to the committee report, the selection was made after thorough deliberation and consideration of ward representation balance.
The nominated office bearers are: Thejao Sekhose (Ward-3) as president; Duzho Tunyi (Ward-11) and Peter Rengma (ward-17) as vice presidents; Hukato Chishi (ward-18) as general secretary along with five members.
