Alemtemshi Jamir appointed as CEO IDAN

Nagaland government has appointed former chief secretary, Alemtemshi Jamir as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) in the status of a cabinet minister/
According to the notification issued through Planning and Co-ordination department, the tenure of the CEO will be for a term of five years.
On April 16 last, the state cabinet had changed the nomenclature of IDAN from Nagaland Investment and Development Authority (NIDA).
It may recalled that Alemtemshi Jamir, who is also the NDPP working president, had recently contested the 2018 elections from two seats– 24 Angetyongpang A/C and 25 Mongoya A/C as NDPP candidate and lost in both the assembly seat.
