CEO of Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Alemtemshi Jamir launched a book titled “Political Participation and Political Attitude: A study of Mokokchung District”, authored by E Benrithung Patton in the conference hall of Fazl Ali College, here, on Wednesday.
Speaking at the launching programme as special guest, Alemtemshi Jamir congratulated Dr. Benrithung Patton who he described as a dedicated Christian and an educationist for sparing the time and space to author an important book.
He viewed that the book would highly benefit Naga people to better understand the present political scenario of the state as the author has intensively researched and written political participation and electoral reforms from every angle.
Alemtemshi lauded Fazl Ali College for harbouring some of the best brains in the state and was hopeful that the institution would one day become a University.
The programme was chaired by lecturer Dr. Elizabeth Imti, welcome address was delivered by FAC principal, Dr. Temjenwapang and book review was delivered by NU Registrar, Dr. Abemo.
Earlier, the book was dedicated by CTC lecturer, Rev. Prof. K Dhanbir Rai and a special song was presented by Tiameren Jamir.
