All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Group sets deadline for regularisation

CorrespondentKOHIMA, FEB 23 (NPN):

All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Group (ANATG) 2015 batch Monday informed that its ongoing sit-in protest had been temporarily put on hold with effect from February 21, 2026, following assurances from the department of School Education regarding documentation and prioritisation of their regularisation cases.
In a letter addressed to the principal director school education, ANATG core committee informed that suspension of protest was subject to deputation of 10 ANATG members to assist the department in documentation and record sorting and strict prioritisation and completion of all alternative arrangements, procedures, and processes for regularisation of the 2015 batch members on or before June 30, 2026.
ANATG cautioned that failure to resolve the long-pending regularisation issue within the stipulated timeframe would force the group to resume its democratic protest in a more intensified form.
The protest, which had entered its 18th day, was staged at the directorate of school education demanding implementation of the 2022 High Powered Committee agreement and immediate regularisation of services for members appointed between 1994 and 2012.
