Allegation on CM: LHW seeks Gov’s intervention

Following the accusation of “alleged fraudulent transaction against Nagaland chief minister”, Lotha Hoho Wokha (LHW) said the “matter is extremely of serious social concern” and sought Nagaland Governor’s personal intervention in speedy delivery of justice.
In a representation to the Governor, LHW chairman Mhao Humtsoe and general secretary, Mhondamo Ovung, citing chief minister’s response in welcoming a probe, urged Governor to expedite the matter at the earliest and punish the guilty without fear or favour.
Stating that no society could progress without honesty, justice and discipline especially in regard to public finances, LHW said it extends full support to the Governor’s mission to fight against all forms of corruption in the governance of the State. “We have full faith in your gubernatorial tenure that you will usher in peace and prosperity in the State of Nagaland”, LHW stated.
Terming the present impasse within the NPF Legislators as “a great disservice to the general public”, LHW appealed for urgent resolution of the issue in the interest of the people of the State.
