
Alliance Air has announced the launch of multiple flight operations in the Northeast and connect multiple regional dots on the aviation map of eastern part of the country.
Accordingly, the airline will commence flight operations from Guwahati to Shillong and onward to Dimapur and back effective from November 22. This flight will operate under Government of India’s regional connectivity scheme Udan. The airline will deploy its 70-seater luxurious aircraft to connect these cities and the flight will operate four days a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. As per the schedule, Flight 9I 735 will depart Guwahati at 12.20 pm and arrive Shillong at 1.05 pm. From Shillong, the flight will depart at 1.30 pm and arrive Dimapur at 2.20 pm.
From Dimapur, the flight will depart at 2.50 pm and arrive Shillong at 3.40 pm, from where it will leave at 4.05 pm and arrive Guwahati at 5.10 pm.
All-inclusive one way inaugural fares for Guwahati-Shillong flight will be starting at Rs 1,786, Rs 1,887 in Shillong-Dimapur, Rs 2,302 in Dimapur-Shillong and Rs 1,786 in Shillong-Guwahati flights respectively.
With these new flights, travellers from Guwahati, Shillong, Dimapur will get multiple options for onward connectivity to rest of the country.
Stating this, Alliance Air claimed in a press release that it had been its constant endeavour to bolster its network and soar higher connecting India and beyond.
Mentioning that there were only window and aisle seats, the airline further claimed that its aircrafts have super comfortable leg space with a seat pitch of 300.
