Alongkima appeals for retention of administrator

The Ad-hoc Town Committee, Alongkima Town, on behalf of all citizens has extended its appreciation to the state government for the developmental activities under EAC of Alongkima town, S Longnyei Konyak. 
A press note by Ad-hoc Town Committee chairman, Imsumeren and secretary Imtisunep stated that Alongkima town under Waromung village was a remote town, located 60 Kms away from Mokokchung town and one of the most neglected. It stated that through the efforts of EAC Longnyei and the citizens, there have been much developmental activities in Alongkima town. 
The release also stated that EAC Longnyei was always at station, listening and working for the welfare of the people of Jangpetkong range under Mokokchung district. He had actively initiated in restoring the electric transformers, and coordinated with the Power department employees for restoring electricity in the town and the nearby villages. 
It also informed that Longnyei along with Waromung village council had cleared the massive landslide at the main road connecting Alongkima town with the rest of the district. 
While expressing that people of Alongkima town had been longing for a sincere administrator, the arrival of Longnyei has been a great boon for the community of Alongkima. In this regard, the Alongkima citizens have earnestly appealed the state government for retaining Longnyei as the EAC of Alongkima town for some more time. 
It also expressed to state government for more developments which could be implemented through dedicated leaders like the DC, ADC and EAC of the area.
