Alpine Open Scouts & Guides camping concludes

A seven-day long annual summer camp of Alpine Open Scouts & Guides unit which began on June 22, concluded at St. Edmund’s School Kigwema under Kohima district concluded Tuesday.
The closing summer camp was graced by secretary (Judicial), Justice and Law, Nino Iralu as special guest and grand camp fire chief.


Narrating that she was also in the scouts & guides, Iralu said the movement taught her many lessons and pushed her to further her career as a lawyer. She said the discipline and lesson they learn should also be reflected in their living and further asked the gathering to have sense of responsibility as scouts, so that people learnt good lessons from them.
The master of ceremony of the closing ceremony was ranger leader, Sashikala Jamir while vote of thanks was proposed by administrator of Alpine Open Scout and guide unit, Imlisunep Imchen.
Later, special songs and dances were presented by different patrols of the camp.
