Commemorating Tsungremmong festival, Ao Lanur Telongjem Chümoukedima (ALTC) organized a social work on August 1, with the aims to commemorate the festival through meaningful community service activities.
According to ALTC, the social work focused on cleaning and painting of iconic Patkai Bridge at Chümoukedima, witnessing enthusiastic participation from Ao members.
ALTC expressed hope that its effort would inspire other tribes and communities to integrate social initiatives as part of their own cultural celebrations.
ALTC further extended gratitude to all volunteers who contributed to the event, and also acknowledged Councillor, Chümoukedima Town Ward-1, and her family for their support and providing refreshments for all participants.
