ATMA Wakching block conducted two-day training and demonstration programme for women group on April 28 and 30 on vermi-composting and green manuring with special reference to draincha.
In a press statement, ATMA Wakching block said that the demonstration was done on silage making for pig feed, biological control of insects and pests and also on oyster mushroom cultivation. The resource persons were C. Jaitok Phom, Pangchong and BTM, Roseline. Later, dish wash kits, mushroom spawns and draincha seeds were distributed among the women group. Meanwhile, Chingtok Food Security Group has been formed with 12 women members at Shiyong village.
