DIMAPUR: Anaki ‘C’ Village Council has clarified that the flood which occurred on July 19 took place at Anaki ‘C’ village under Tuli subdivision, Mokokchung district, and not at Lushie village in Longleng district, as was incorrectly circulated on social media.
In a press release, council secretary C. Imkong and chairman Ongphen Phom stated that the information being spread was false. The council warned that any person or group deliberately spreading misinformation that tarnishes the reputation of the village would be dealt with appropriately.
