ANCSU appeals govt for additional MBBS, BDS seats

All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has appealed to the state government to acquire additional seats for undergoing MBBS and BDS courses.
In a representation to the minister of health and family welfare (H&FW), ANCSU vice president and grievances committee chairman, Benjong Longchar, and assistant general secretary, Imnameren N Jamir, stated that the Centre has enhanced the seats for undergoing MBBS and BDS all over the country. However, it stated that Nagaland over the years has been benefited with very limited seats for undergoing MBBS and BDS. The student body alleged that during the past years the state government has failed to acquire additional seats.
