ANCSU biennial conference

All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) 18th biennial conference will be held from November 8-11 at Fazl Ali College Mokokchung on the theme, “Synergizing young minds”. 
The announcement was made by the convenor of the conference N. Ejanthung Ngullie (former NSF general secretary) at the press briefing at ANCSU office Kohima on October 29. He said that the concept of this conference was to synergise the young minds of the students in various aspects like creativity, innovative and also to raise various issues relating to Naga political issue, awareness and the happening of our society. He also informed that during the conference there would be competitions on extempore speech, painting, photography and also creating awareness on clean election campaign. Around one thousand delegates from 40 colleges will be participating at the conference. 
State chief minister T.R. Zeliang, parliamentary secretaries N. Thomas Ngullie and Merentoshi R Jamir, deputy commissioner Mokokchung Sushil Kumar Patel IAS and others will be addressing the conference.  ANCSU president Temjennungsang Jamir said besides raising various genuine issues for the students’ community, they conference aims to strengthen unity of the students’ community and provide platform for the students to display their talents. A new team of ANCSU office bearers 2017-19 would also be elected during the conference.
