All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has acknowledged the higher education department and the state government for “positively responding” to its demand on posting principals at government colleges that were functioning without principals.
In a press release, ANCSU vice president, Kahovi Z Rochill and general secretary Tenyesinlo Bukh wished the newly-posted principals a great success on their new assignments.
ANCSU expressed confidence that meritocracy would be strictly maintained in such promotion and transfer to avoid future complications.
It may be mentioned that the union through its representation on November 16 had demanded principals at Fazl Ali College (FAC) and Mount Tiyi College (MTC) and also met the secretary, higher & technical education with regard to its demands.
