All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has welcomed the release of 2nd and final instalment of Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) on December 19. ANSCU had served an ultimatum on the government to disburse the second instalment of Centrally sponsored PMS for the year 2022-23 before December 22.
ANCSU president Tenyesinlo Bukh and general secy. Arhonthung M Lotha acknowledged the state government, higher education minister and department for the concern towards the well-being of the student community. ANCSU has informed the students whose names were on the beneficiary list, but did not receive scholarship to claim it within 90 days. The beneficiary list could be downloaded from the department’s website at https://highereducation.nagaland.gov.in as and when uploaded by the department. Meanwhile, the union has expressed gratitude to the college authorities, faculty, college student bodies, students and well-wishers for the support and cooperation throughout the year. ANCSU also informed that its office would remain closed from December 22, 2023 to January 15, 2024.
