ANDMSA directs district units to observe 3-day pen down strike

DIMAPUR, OCT 12 (NPN)

All Nagaland District Ministerial Staff Association (ANDMSA), an affiliate of CANSSEA, has directed all its district units and members to strictly adhere to the directive issued by the CANSSEA Core Committee and Action Committee regarding the enforcement of a three-day Pen Down Strike from October 14 to 16, 2025.
In a press release, ANDMSA president Tsointhe Sangtam and general secretary Petekhrielie stated that the strike is being organised as a peaceful democratic protest against the non-fulfilment of two key demands- withdrawal of non-NPSC candidates from the Select List of Non-SCS officers proposed for induction into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), and restoration of the Vacancy Circular dated March 10, 2025, to uphold transparency and merit in future IAS inductions of Non-SCS officers.
In this regard, ANDMSA has instructed all district units to ensure active participation and total observance of the strike as a mark of solidarity with the joint movement spearheaded by CANSSEA. The association further urged its members to maintain unity and discipline throughout the course of the protest and the reports of observance be submitted to the ANDMSA Central Office.
