All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) has decided to intensify its stir due to non-response of the government to their demands.
A press statement signed by ANDMSA president Shilumenba Alinger, vice president Inato Sangtam and general secretary T. Limachan Kithan, notified that the state wide “Pen down and computer shut-down” agitation will continue till December 8, to be followed by a proposed mass casual leave on December 11, if the government failed to respond.
The release requested all units and members to be vigilant and warned that any non-ministerial employee found engaging in or handling ministerial duties/jobs would themselves be held responsible for any untoward incident. It also requested all the employees and DDO to kindly co-operate and respect the sentiments of the Association while expressing regret for the inconvenience caused to the public, whose co-operation they sought, as there was no response from the government till the release of the press statement.
Meanwhile, ANDMSA Dimapur unit has reaffirmed its stand on its parent body’s directives and resolved to continue the agitation, until further directions from the parent body. ANDMSA Dimapur unit general secretary M. Zachamo Ezung and information and publicity secretary, Akito Jima requested the public, staff employees, DDOs and department to bear with the inconveniences. It also requested the “Man Power Rationalization Committee” and the government to re-examine their “genuine demand”.
It further informed that an emergency general meeting has been convened at Tourist lodge, Dimapur on November 30, 9:00 A.M, and requested all ministerial staff and dept. representatives to attend without fail. It also, once again, reminded all concerned departments to submit the membership and welfare fund by December 10 at the Dimapur Tourist Lodge control room.
