Actress Aneet Padda’s sister, Reet Padda, has deleted her Instagram and LinkedIn accounts after facing heavy criticism for calling the Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ a propaganda film.
In her posts, Reet compared the film to The Kashmir Files, claiming both push government-friendly narratives and exaggerate figures to shape public opinion. She argued that such films distort reality by inflating numbers and presenting biased perspectives.
Her remarks sparked widespread backlash online, forcing her to deactivate her accounts. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, has become a massive box-office success, praised for its scale, action, and pan-India appeal. The franchise has grown into a cultural phenomenon, blending nationalism, spectacle, and star power — though critics continue to debate whether it serves as pro-establishment propaganda.
