All Nagaland Electricity Field Workers’ Association (ANEFWA) on Monday announced its decision to keep the proposed agitation in abeyance for a period of 30 days effective from March 6, 2025.
On February 19, 2025, the ANEFWA had served an ultimatum on the Department of Power to address its ten-point demand within 30 days.
However, following the assurance by engineer-in-chief power department at a meeting held on March 5, 2025, to take up the demands with the higher authority for consideration, the association has decided to suspend the proposed agitation.
ANEFWA has, however, cautioned that it would resume agitation any time after the expiry of the 30-day period.
