All Nagaland Fair Price Shop Association (ANFPSA) has welcomed the State government’s assurance of reimbursing transportation and handling costs to fair price shop owners within a month or two.
While acknowledging the initiatives taken by the government, the association also called upon the Food & Civil Supply department to lay necessary groundwork at the earliest and reimburse the remaining payable amount in due course of time to avoid future differences.
In a press note, ANFPSA president Hotoshe Sumi and general secretary M Gonmei said fair price shop owners and director of food & civil supply came to an understanding on the issue of reimbursement of transportation and handling charges under NFS Act, 2013 during a meeting held here.
