The 12th Convention of Angami Catholic Union (ACU) would begin on April 22, 2 p.m. onwards on the theme “Eucharist the Source and Summit of Christian Life”, at Christ the King Church, Kohima village.
The convention would begin with director of men’s hostel, St Joseph’s College Jakhama, Rev Fr Dr George Pezalhoukho Rino as speaker.
Other speakers include principal, St Joseph’s College Jakhama, Rev Fr Dr George Keduolhou Dzeyie and ACU ecclesiastical assistant & Parish priest, St John the Evangelist Parish, Khonoma, Rev Fr Dr Solomon Vizosieo Vizo.
The five units under ACU include Chakhro Angami Catholic Union, Kohima Town Region Angami Catholic Union, Northern Angami Catholic Union, Southern Angami Catholic Union and Western Angami Catholic Union.
Over 1000 members are expected to be part of the three-day convention.
