Angami Youth Organisation informs

In view of its scheduled environmental campaign on October 5 in Kohima, the Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has issued a list of people/institutions that are exempted from its earlier directive/call. In a press note, president, AYO Medo Yhokha, and Treasurer, Dzieseneituo Belho, informed that district administrations/ police/ para military forces on duty, first responders of the district,people on emergencies /important possessing sufficient proofs, people of wedding programs and festivals, students and faculties school/college exams schedules, government officials from director/AHoDs and above and department buses have been exempted within the purview of the call.
It may be noted that AYO has earlier  called upon the citizens of Kohima to cease their vehicle engines/keep their vehicles off the road for the day, cease/down all commercial power driven works and activities and all other establishments/agents engaging mechanized tools and other high power voltage tools. The  AYO suggested various healthy measures for the day to enable our environment to recoup its vitality for human sustenance. AYO has also impressed upon the legislators to attend their respective offices without any escorts.  Further, people/ Institutions /establishments engaging other sources of private conveyance for scheduled works ie., non-identifiable transportations have been requested to contact the office of the Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) at APO Building Complex (Top floor), Midland Main Town Kohima between 11 am – 3 pm on October 3 and 4.
