Anganwadi-cum-Creche inaugurated at Diphupar A-VI

DIMAPUR

The Social Welfare department on Saturday inaugurated the Anganwadi-cum-Creche building at Anganwadi Centre Diphupar A-VI under ICDS Dimapur Rural, a project realized through the dedicated and voluntary contributions of officers from the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland, as part of the “Good Practice initiative.”
Limawabang Jamir, secretary Social Welfare department, graced the occasion as special guest. Addressing the gathering, Jamir said that in his long years of public service, it was unprecedented to witness such significant contributions by officers towards the department and the welfare of the people.
Delivering the keynote address, director of Social Welfare, Tosheli Zhimomi, who was also a key donor to the project, emphasized the spirit of collective effort behind the establishment of the facility.
The programme also featured a special performance by Anganwadi children. The newly inaugurated building is expected to provide crucial services to working mothers and young children, serving as a hub for early childhood development and care.
